It's Great to Be Able to Giggle! :4

Now, which one do you relate to?
I can relate to just about all of them.  That's the truth.
And I wonder...   How was life before the computer?

                                      1. Memory was something that you lost with age.
                                      2. An Application was for employment.
                                      3. A Program was a TV show.
                                      4. A Cursor used profanity.
                                      5. A Keyboard was a piano.
                                      6. A Web was spider's home.
                                      7. A Virus was a flu.
                                      8. A CD was a bank account.
                                      9. A Hard Drive was a long trip on the road.
10.A Mouse Pad was where a mouse lived.
                                     11. ..And if you had a 31/2 inch floppy... you just hoped nobody found out.

Hope you all have a great week!

I went through your blog.. I giggled and giggled a lot.. tears were streaming down my cheeks. Then, there was silence as truth dawned upon me. That this is true and I was scared, very very scared.

I love the first cartoon, think how much i would get done if I had a washer on one side and [screw the stove] a dryer on the other..

3 1/2 inch floppy lol

blueviolet said...

It's funny because most of those terms really do have "computer" associated with them first in my mind now.

Love those cartoons too!

Yes. That movie made in the dark ages when people used CD ROMS, called The Matrix proved to be prophetic. We now live in a virtual world.

I love the cartoons and the current definitions. I think the washer and dryer as a computer desk is my favorite. I think I need to try that so I can keep my laundry going without taking too long of a break from my computer.

Those were too cute! I can relate to just about all of them! I can remember working as a "temp" at an office in the early-mid 90's, and hearing about the "world-wide-web" and wondering what the heck is THAT all about? Sigh.
