While it's reasonable to cut back on spending during the holidays, don't let that suck the joy out of the actual act of giving itself.
It's always fun and so exciting to give and receive gifts with the loved ones not only during the holidays, but all year long as well.
I believe that it is often the giver, rather than the recipient, who reaps the biggest gains from a gift.
Seeing the reflection on their face when you give someone a little gift is a really wonderful moment and something you can never forget; my heart always feels better when I can see the smiles in their hearts.
I really prefer giving gifts, but I'm only human so I think receiving a gift is nice, too!

These are great gift ideas. I, too, do most of my shopping online since getting to a mall takes most of a day from where we live. I really like those first two photos.

Fun, fun photos! I do the majority of my shopping online - and do it all as early as possible. Then I can truly enjoy the holidays! (and yep, I love the giving part!)
I give presents to others these days when we are gathering in someone's home and for those who celebrate.It doesn't matter if the present is small but the thought is important.I am shopping in the malls and not online.The feeling is different.Have special holidays!

That little Pomeranian is so cute. We rarely get carried away with gift giving and try to keep things simple but enjoyable. I like to take a stroll downtown just before Christmas. I'm usually not shopping just enjoying the hustle and bustle of the season.
