Deceiving Winter

There is a calm that descends over the garden as winter hits. The frenzy of the growing season is over. The flowers fade to brown, but thankfully there are still some good blooms and many gorgeous plants to enjoy.
I found myself utterly and entirely infatuated with the outdoors. These photos do a little help explaining why.
Flowers make me incredibly happy and lift my spirits. I hope they do the same for you.

Is there anything still in bloom where you live? xx

Sharing with  Share the Joy , and Saturday Sareenity .

Note: We are also switching the 'Five Likes Tuesday' series (in which we can share five of our favourite things of the week) to a twice-a-month post. (We will be posting this series every first and last Tuesday of each month.)

Good morning my friend! LOVE the beautiful blooms. There is nothing in bloom here where I am. Though, our Daffodils are trying to bloom because the Arkansas weather can never make up its mind - you never know if it's going to be 70 degrees outside (like today) or 42 (like tomorrow) - *sigh* Have a great day lovie! xoxoxo

There is nothing in bloom here now. No snow, but we've had sub-zero temperatures for a couple of days now. :-(

Have a great day!

i had to sit and stare a few moments at the bud with the droplets, so specail so beautiful, incredible to me. I love anything that grows outside, trees, flowers, bushes and all things living except forget the spiders. we have a few hibiscus, not many and there are several flowering trees right now, but not sure of their names.

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Hope you did see the translation button on the right. It helps but gives some hilarious translations I have noticed. :-)
Since I live in Melbourne Australia we have a lot in bloom at ATM since it's summer here. Getting a bit dry and some flowers are getting a bit sad but it's still lots of prettiness around. Love your pics of the roses.
Cheers!
