What Are You Craving Right Now?

Hey, friends! How are you? Wooh! I'm totally exhausted but happy. As some of you may already know, I've had a pretty harried few weeks trying to finish a project I've been working on...gosh, for so long.
I've been very busy the last few weeks; It's hard to believe how much work it takes to get it all done. I think time management and increased focus helped me to get everything done effectively.
(My job can be pretty chaotic; there are evenings where I work late into the night.)
Finally I seem to have successfully resolved my work issues as well.
When it comes to work related issues, I know I really only have three options.
*Sucking it up and living with it.
*Directly address them.
*Make the decision and move on.
Well, after much thought, I decided that the second one seemed like the best option to me. I think it was the most professional way to handle it. So, I directly talked to my co-worker (the person who is the cause of my problem), having in mind that I was trying to resolve the issue and not escalate it. And yes, it worked!
Dealing with passive-aggressive and difficult co-workers can be so frustrating. People like this are quite toxic.
I always feel relieved after finishing a difficult challenging project.
Right now I crave for a peaceful breathing space; perfectly soothing after a stressful couple of weeks,
...and I'm totally craving these delicious treats for my breakfast today; some fairy cupcakes sound really, really, really good right now! xx

What about you? What do you crave  right now?

P.S. Here's a post on how are Bonnie and Clyde related to Micro-Economics, if you'd like to see.

other than food cravings i don't have cravings. i live my daily life fighting the craving for sugar. i have bread/sugar addiction. for over a year i have allowed myself to have one sugar dessert every other Saturday. good idea to address the problem. your job sounds like the one i retired from in 2006, i skipped to my car and laughed all the way home my last day of work.

Such situations can be stressful indeed, Betty, and I'm glad you were able to address it, but that is seldom easy. You've earned the cupcakes!! I don't have many cravings, have to remind myself to eat half the time!! Hope the remainder of your week goes well! Take time to enjoy!

It isn't just co-workers that are passive-agressive, difficult and toxic. Friends and family can certainly qualify. You can avoid friends, but family, not always. I do try to steer clear.

Glad you got the issues worked out and the job done! Good to see you!

Glad you worked out the work issue. Being honest and calm can frequently work quite well.'

The cupcakes look good. I'm craving pizza with a thin crispy crust that I unfortunately can't bite or chew, yet.

Ha! My profile is centered around (7) cravings, and that never changes.

On a smaller scale, I've been craving sleep, as I have had a battle with insomnia lately.

But seeing you back in the blogosphere is like a craving that has been satisfied. I'm glad for you that you found a decent resolution to the situation that burdened you. :-)

Dearest Betty, it's so awesome to see you back in your place. I'm very happy to hear your issue is resolved. There's no better way to deal with something than to just plain deal with it.

As for cravings, I wish I could say I'm craving food right now. I'm just really craving a big chunk of free time in which I can do whatever I wish to do. Oh, just the thought of it makes me smile. :-) Oh, well!

It's delightful to visit you always, Betty!

Love and hugs,
Nevine

fantastic news that it worked! sometimes people are so aggressive that they act like you're the crazy one. I'm happy that it worked out for you. as for what I'm craving...warm weather that's here to stay. it is so warm in NY right now but I don't want to get too excited since it's so unseasonal!

Hi Betty, I am glad you had your work issues solved and your project is done. Work and dealing with co-workers can be stressful. I love your photos and the cupcakes look delicious. My cravings are usually for ice cream. I love it. I wanted to ask you about one of your photos below at the Columbia Gorge, we will be visiting there this summer and the place on your photo is beautiful, is it easy to get to?

Dear Betty:

Glad to know that you are well and happy. The pictures that you have posted really gave me a wee break from my other things of the day.

Right now I crave for a place which I have never seen. But my imagination has always taken me to places virtually.

Have a lovely weekend filled with warmth and joy.

The C rating refers to the charge or discharge rate of the battery in relation to its capacity. external battery charger creates your life less difficult as it is incredibly uncomplicated to utilize by just slipping the external battery charger into the charger interface of iphone. People are of the mindset that they have been purchasing batteries for more than half of their lives so they know all about them. Top up with distilled or de-ionised water (the acid in the battery doesn't need replacing since it is not consumed).
