So spring is officially one month away, but today I found myself daydreaming of spring. And spring... with its lovely colours and brightness has always meant so much to me; it always has brought a smile to my face.
Today I felt a little bit of spring had arrived at my house. So I decided to do a post filled with some beautiful spring-ish things.
Is it starting to feel like spring where you live?
Spring doesn't even seem to be a vague suggestion yet here so I enjoyed your beautiful soft pinks and greens. I could almost smell their scent from here.
Wonderful springcolors you are showing. Spring overhere? Only in the vase on the table indoors. Outside my little pont is still frozen. But I have a springfeeling. Have a wonderful weekend Betty.
beautiful flowers all of them.. and the only way we can tell spring from winter is it gets more warm than it is PLUS the birds are singing at daybreak every morning...
I'm also dreaming of Spring, but Old Man Winter is scheduled to make a return visit next week. That's too bad -- I really enjoyed a beautiful day today.
We've had snow the past couple of days here in Montreal, Canada, but definitely a warming trend.
I thoroughly enjoyed your lovely spring flowers. And what is it about hanging clothes outside? Just looking at your coloured clothespins makes me long for the warm days when I can pin my bedsheets to the line. Love the fresh air smell when you bring them in the house! Hugs

You are seemingly able to find spring everywhere: good for you! I found spring Sunday, by forgetting my overcoat at my early church service and driving a mile before figuring this out.
Very pretty photo! We are indeed having a lovely weekend! I'm doing my favorite thing... Camping! Not just for the weekend though. Thanks for the nice flowers.
We stumbled over here сοming from a differеnt ωebѕite and thought Ι should check things out. I like what I see so now i'm following you. Look forward to looking over your web page repeatedly. click through the next article
We're sitting under heavy snow and cloudy skies here (near Chicago), but your vivid colors and exquisite textures perfectly build towards the excitement of a venal rebirth. It never ceases to fills my senses and lifts my spirit each year, when the new life begins popping up all over the place. The sights, the temps, the smells... aah! That's good stuff!
Those are gorgeous photos!! Love it! Not feeling as spring like here, but getting there. We still have some snow on the ground, but the temps are up and it's all melting, which means mud season in New England! ;)
Thanks so much for coming to my blog, because that means I got to find you and I love your blog! Beautiful place. x
These images sure do make me think of, no almost feel, spring. The colours, softness, freshness ...
Although we're escaping winter by being in Florida, I look forward to the arrival of spring when we get back home. Hopefully things will be starting to grow by then (late April).
Hi Betty, Thanks for this beautiful spring like post :) It is definitely spring here in SF - cherry blossoms are blooming and the sky is blue. It feels good to soak in some sunshine. Hope you are well. xo
spring is more than welcome here. February has been terribly cold this year in SoCal. Why just last wee we had hail and freezing rain in San Diego. It's good to visit you again dear Betty. How are you?
It's been a while since I have read your blog. Sorry I have missed it. Beautiful shots. I love the colour and the mixing of tight focus. I am the just point and shoot type. I do have a rebel and put it on auto :D
Look forward to catching up on some of your other posts.
Awww, no need to apologise - I know you've not been well and have been busy too. Isn't it interesting how spring begins on different days in different regions? In South Africa and UK, I think it begins on the first day of September and March but in other regions it can begin in February or only on the Equinox. Autumn is easiest to define. I think Autumn is definitely September, October and November in the UK so I take it from there.
You too. What a sweet shot!
ReplyDeleteAloha
