Can you believe July is right around the corner? I can't. Any plans for this fourth of July? What are some of your favourite fourth of July traditions? I'd love to hear:)
Hope you have an awesome weekend! xx
P.S. I'd love to visit Knoxville, TN someday. Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains...

I LOVE the first and the second up from the bottom... so beautiful... and i feel like the last one. LOL
ReplyDeleteMuito lindas! beijos,ótimo fim de semana!chica
ReplyDeleteI don't think about wrinkles. In a matter of fact,it's good when somebody gets older because many die young.I believe that surgery for disappearance of wrinkles and the other relevant surgeons with spots of time when somebody gets old are against the God.Sometimes when somebody does these surgeons the result is ridiculous and when somebody does these for one time there will be other times also for maintenance.
ReplyDeleteFor me,4th July is a usual day.Have many walks in the sea!
sandra, oh, NO! lol
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos, and great thoughts! It seems so many of us worry about getting older and what we look like instead of enjoying the now! Live in the moment! Appreciate life!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend! We always have a cookout on the 4th!
This is so beautiful in so many ways. I have a Canon EF 50 mm 1.4 and I honestly didn't know it could do such things! I always complain about not having a macro! For the 4th, we're doing fireworks. It's not a tradition..yet..because my daughter has never seemed old enough. She was only 2 last year. This year she's psyched.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant photo's Betty. i wish I had a lense like that. Yes june is almost gone. Normaly we have summertime with lovely temperatures overhere but last week only 15C it feels like autumn but the garden tells different. The 4th of july is not a day we are celebrating.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend
Rosehugs
Beautiful photos of the days of a rose from a plump bud to fallen petals, still there is beauty.

ReplyDeletesweet, sweet, sweet set! loved it! and thanks for the message about growing older as i try to remember that. i'm turning 50 next week and have had a hard time grasping that. but then i think of my sis who died at 47 and never got the chance to 'age'. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and yet ultimately somehow sad.
ReplyDeleteBellas tomas florales, Betty, con bonitas composiciones.

Con una rosa mira lo que se puede lograr, feliz 4 de Julio.

ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the quotes, they are so true.
We don't usually do anything special on the 4th anymore. We can see the fireworks display from our front yard, so we watch that every year. I'll keep trying to get a decent shot of the fireworks. :)
Have a nice weekend!

ReplyDeleteWe're about an hour west of Knoxville. You would love a visit to this part of the world. I love your still life photo of the rose and its petals.
ReplyDeleteBardzo podoba mi się powiedzenie M.Twain i wspaniałe zdjęcia z różą, szczególnie piąte. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
ReplyDeleteI love the saying M.Twain and great pictures of rose, especially the fifth. Yours sincerely.
(drooling) I'd love to get a 50mm w/f1.8! I have been using the kit lens from my Pentax K-x. Yesterday I ordered a new lens, but it's nowhere near as fast as your Canon. Still, you have such a good eye for art, that you'd shoot great pics even if you were using a phone camera. The first pic is my favorite of this set. It looks like a sculpture formed from French Vanilla and strawberry ice cream. Yum!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're back!
