{Wine of the mind.}
What are you up to this weekend? I am slowly getting myself back in the routine after a nice, refreshing vacation (read: staycation). All in all our holiday was really lovely.
How have you been, my dear friends?
Share a glass of wine with your partner or a friend tonight. Have fun. Life is not only about work.
By the way, do you like beer or wine? Just curious.
Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Cheers! xx

Sometimes a staycation beats the hustle and bustle of a 'vacation'.
ReplyDeleteAs for beer or wine - I'm ambidextrous - I can drink either ;>)

Oh what a lovely shot. I have always loved wine but have spent all of my adult life wanting to like beer.. and never did.. until last year. Suddenly something clicked and I started enjoying it.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your staycation. A tea-totaller, at the moment my favourite tipple is a non-alcoholic elderflower'wine'.
ReplyDeleteHi Betty,
ReplyDeletegood morning,
I'm glad you're back,
lovely holiday, eh?
thats great!
About the question,
I prefer the Anis,
but between beer and wine ...
mmm... both equally, but not mixed =S
(ok ok ok, for a toast ...
wine, no doubt) =D
I wish you a wonderful week
a kiss and a hug
Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteI'm in! :-) Many of my friends do not drink at all, and I will not imbibe to excess. I have a self-imposed 2-drink limit. Off-the-cuff, my preference is dry red wines, but of course it depends on what we're pairing it with. But this weekend, I enjoyed a couple of beers.
This weekend I discovered Magic Hat's #9, the "Not Quite Pale Ale." It is a light-bodied brew with a mild citrus blend. There is a hint of fruit up front, and it does not have a bitter aftertaste, so they've successfully blended the apricot and hopps.
I also tried Blue Moon's Agave Nectar Ale. This one is also light-bodied and sweet. Agave is a honey-like sweetener. I drank a bottle after working on the back lawn, and I should have used water to quench my thirst. I like my beer very cold--almost frozen, and this one was not cold enough, yet.
My wife though... She only likes a very few sweet wines, and doesn't like beer at all. It's funny that our tastes differ so much.
Hope you enjoyed your vino...I know I did :) Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI had a great weekend and I usually do. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay-cation. I will drink and enjoy just about every drink known to man.
ReplyDeleteOverall, a glass of beer that is almost freezing is my favorite.
I like wine..love having a glass of wine while cooking also before dinner.
ReplyDeletehow r u? miss you xx
Hello my dear friend Betty-darling!
ReplyDeleteI prefer a glass of wine, but it depends of the thirst!!
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a note, my dear!!
I found you at Flickr... !!!!
Have a great weekend..
Hugs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a great photo Betty, so cheery. I enjoy a glass of wine when I go out with friends. I only developed a taste of beer in my later years, at parties on hot days in the summer when a nice cold beer would be offered, and now my husband and I share an occasional bottle of beer in the evenings.
ReplyDeleteI like staycations! You get to sleep in your own bed at night.
ReplyDeleteI like an occasional glass of Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay. :)
Same here my friend. Holls and getting back to reality.
ReplyDeleteGreat post and cheers.
Nice shot. Enjoy your staycation.
ReplyDeleteI love champagne!
cheers Betty, I went to the zoo this weekend
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photograph. I'm not up to much just enjoying a bit of "free" time.
ReplyDeleteI love how perfect the sparkly star of light came out on that wine glass.
ReplyDeleteBe well, Betty.
It's great to see you making rounds again. Thanks for visiting.
xoRobyn
Red wine is definitely my drink of choice but at the right time and the right place there is nothing better than a pint of Guinness!
ReplyDeleteA lovely composition, well done!
ReplyDeleteLove this shot.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty shot! I think this would make a great photo for a New Years Eve spread.
ReplyDeleteI don't drink, so make mine a sweet tea, please :)
