I hate it when my mind won't shut up when I'm trying to sleep. But there are times I love lying down at night thinking about those moments you just want to re-live.

Here are a few highlights of my favourite pictures from my last
trip to Plymouth Barbican, Devon, England, if you'd like to see.
Barbican is the name now given to the western and northern
sides of the old harbour area of Plymouth, Devon, England.
It is such a spectacular area, preserving the medieval street layouts and many of the Tudor Dwellings.
I fell in love not just with the town, but with Plymouth people as well; they are unbelievably polite and inspiring in the way they live their lives.
The sky is grey, there's a chill in the air, the fresh, salty scent of the sea...is all around; and the songs of the seagulls fill my ears.

ReplyDeleteI especially like that first photo. And do you know, I've never been to Plymouth. There is a train goes all the way from Edinburgh to Plymouth and it passes through Leeds but I have never travelled on it all the way to its terminus.

When my mind races, I pray a mental list of everyone I know and have ever known; just asking God for his blessing of each one, thinking of them with thanks and love.
