I'm excited to say that I'm linking to a brilliant photographer today and I'll be sharing gorgeous fine art photos and artwork gifts.
Mark Highton Ridley is a highly skilled and creative photographer.
He has had work published in Photo magazines, and the BBC has frequently shown his work as well.
His quirky style and aspects of capturing things around has always drawn me to him.
I love the way he can take ordinary scenes and make them extraordinary; he has the ability and skill to apply new perspective to standard images. In other words he manages to add something new to the Contemporary Fine Art Photography.
I have always admired his dedication and passion for his work. His photos sometimes incorporate a deep insight, and are many...
potentially expressive shots. He's mainly a Black &White photographer , but his photography approach go artistically further than that.
Here's a well-rounded set of photos that would make any house feel happy.
Formally he's revealing his interest in colour HDR and tone-mapping techniques.
Here's an inspiring shot from his last trip to Athens, Greece in April 2010.
What I love about this picture is the fact that he gave this shot a treatment that would be dramatically extraordinary. It surely looks like it's made of glass. Don't you think?
Twisting it to a whole different perspective can be amazing!
Who says photography is limited to what a standard frame one can see.
Much of his work and other artwork is available as posters and canvas prints.
You can find gorgeous fine art photos for less than a Gant shirt. You can also find beautiful postcards, t-shirts, plates, mugs and other gifts. Along with his B&W photography, his gallery contains a large handful of HDR tone mapped images.
Visit his Zazzle store here and have a look at his full gallery for more.
If your house and friends are craving affordable fine art photos and artwork gifts I would recommend it 1,000 times over.
This is the fine art photography that I would recommend to anyone who wants their home to feel pretty, especially if you love a fine art work that is affordable. It would be a great investment and also just so nice to hang around the house as frames.
What a terrific idea for holiday cards and gifts this year as well! :)
Some art is worthwhile because is too beautiful!
My darlings, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! xx

ReplyDeleteNice stuff. Unfortunately I don't even have wall space to hang any of my own photos or art. RVs are very limited on wall space.
ReplyDeleteThe horse is feathered and could possibly fly, a wooden fence is all that stands beween us and the sun, stone maidens sway gently over Athens. Beautiful pictures.

ReplyDeleteBOYCOTT AMERICAN WOMEN
ReplyDeleteWhy American men should boycott American women
http://boycottamericanwomen.blogspot.com/
I am an American man, and I have decided to boycott American women. In a nutshell, American women are the most likely to cheat on you, to divorce you, to get fat, to steal half of your money in the divorce courts, don't know how to cook or clean, don't want to have children, etc. Therefore, what intelligent man would want to get involved with American women?
American women are generally immature, selfish, extremely arrogant and self-centered, mentally unstable, irresponsible, and highly unchaste. The behavior of most American women is utterly disgusting, to say the least.
This blog is my attempt to explain why I feel American women are inferior to foreign women (non-American women), and why American men should boycott American women, and date/marry only foreign (non-American) women.
Tens of millions of American men have had their lives completely destroyed by American women through the following crimes:
1. False rape accusations (it has been proven that up to 80 percent of rape accusations are FALSE)
2. False DV charges (same as above)
3. Financial RAPE of men in divorce courts
4. Emotional destruction of men by ex-wives who have stolen their children from them and forbidden contact
5. Divorced dads who commit suicide as a result
Not one single American woman has EVER condemned their fellow American women for committing these crimes against men. Silence means consent. Therefore, American women support and enjoy destroying men's lives and causing men to commit suicide. Therefore, is it any surprise that a huge percent of American men no longer want anything to do with American women, other than using them for easy sex and then throwing them away?
Over 50 percent of American women are single, without a boyfriend or husband; so the fact is most American men no longer want to marry American women. Let these worthless American women grow old living alone with their 10 cats.
BOYCOTT AMERICAN WOMEN!
Loving these and especially the last one. Hoping your having a great week-end Betty. x
