Five Likes Tuesday

What are five things that currently make you happy? These days my list is: Blackberries.
Devouring (blushing!) a delicious pork pie.
Tasting a fabulous, whimsical strawberry cupcake. (British English: fairy cake. Australian English: patty cake or cup cake). Interesting!
A hot (like really hot) cup of green tea; perfect after a heavy day at work.

A beautiful wreath made from fresh apples to decorate my home; just perfect at this time of year.

Tell me yours! xx

  6. I'd go for anything on your list (with the beautiful photos!!) except the blackberries. I love most other berries, but never have cared for blackberries or raspberries. That pork pie looks delicious!

I might add settling down into a comfy chair with a good book and my pups on the floor next to me.

  8. I have read so many books where the characters eat fairy cakes but never knew what they are. Thanks for the enlightenment.

  10. I'm with you on the blackberries and might add that pork pie to my list. That leaves three: morning quad almond mocha breve that takes me at least two hours to drink, watching the bird show outside my window, and catching up with friends.

    Have a GREAT day!

  40. One of my favourite poems contains most of my 'likes' -
    Travel, trouble, music, art
    A kiss, a frock, a rhyme.
I do not say they feed my heart -
But ... they pass the time!

Really, there's too many things to pick from!

  41. I'll stick with the fruit wreath, it looks delicious and so fresh.

Here in the north east of England we would refer to your cake as a muffin (very American I know), a fairy cake to us is a smaller plain sponge cake with no fruit but lots of icing which is often bright pink on top.
