Absolutely loved seeing those beautiful bubbles of light from the sunshine in some of these photos.
In fact, working eight hour days at the office, then another two when I get back home in the evening and yet another one hour before breakfast.
Hopefully it will ease off soon...
I think I deserve it!
What are you up to this weekend? I will be spending time with family and outside of the house, enjoying the beautiful spring days...(you should be, too!).
Eating fresh, juicy strawberries in the back yard.
Enjoying the fabulous, crisp weather outdoors. Oh, and I was so thankful to get to see these beautiful poppies!
Strolling through meadows of wildflowers.
Spring flowers always bring me joy with their bright colours and lovely fragrances.
The late afternoon sun makes for a lot of light and shadow-just nice!
And remember, if we focus less on ourselves and more on the beauty around us, is the best way to rid ourselves of gloom, dejection, and moodiness. Don't you think?
Hope you have a wonderful long weekend! (And a Happy Memorial Day!) xx
Sharing with Today's Flowers , and Macro Monday.

Are the strawberries in the garden "from the garden"? The flowers are one small reminder of a world of blessings that are completely independent of us. They are not our doing. They are grace, and they surround us every day.

ReplyDeleteSome things take so long
ReplyDeleteBut how do i explain
When not too many people
Can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears
Your eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Now, isn't it a pity

ReplyDeleteGorgeous images!! Such beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous images!! Such beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Your flowers are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe lovely bubbles of light is called bokeh. You did a great job at creating a bokeh background. You have a good philosophy for cheering oneself by smelling the flowers and appreciating their beauty. Lantana has a pretty flower but we are not allowed to grow it as it has become a noxious weed here in our country. When birds drop its seeds in our forests it takes over and prevents the native plants from growing.
ReplyDeleteI admire the depth of fields in your photos.
ReplyDeleteLovely flower images. Have a nice day. :)
I love to view flowers - beautiful. sandie
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful each of these are, and the strawberries are especially wonderful. You have captured so much detail in them.

ReplyDeleteWonderful series of photos capturing the essence of Spring, Betty!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is like heavens with so many refreshing colorful flowers! In my country we seem to have lesser color variety for the same type of flowers like yours. The photo shots are great making the flowers so vivid and vibrant.
ReplyDeleteGreat images, fantastic. Have a nice week
