But Hurry! + Have a Blissful Weekend

"But hurry, let's entwine ourselves as one, our mouth broken, our soul bitten by love, so time discovers us safely destroyed..."

Federico Garthia Lorca is considered one of Spanish greatest poets and dramatists.
I like Federico Garthia Lorca and I'd highly recommend his work to anyone interested in poetry, drama,  Spanish Literature, but mostly to anyone interested in people daring to live outside the box.

Well, what are you up to this weekend? I'm going to spend the weekend relaxing and reading Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba (Spanish: La Casa de Bernarda Alba), a drama about women in villages of Spain.

Hope you have a wonderful Spring weekend! xx

Update: As I'm visiting your blogs today I can't leave a comment; they are all being rejected. Is anyone else having that problem?

Thank You So Much!

First I want to say that I was so touched by all of your lovely comments, your prayers and get well wishes for my sister from my last post. I cannot express how much I appreciate all of you.
I may never get to meet all of you physically, but that doesn't mean you aren't as important to me as my friends in my real world.
I am pleased to report that our prayers/your prayers were answered, my sister's fever is now gone, however, her eczema hasn't totally disappeared, but it did improve and she's feeling better!

Thank you all again for your kind words and get well wishes; I just hope the future holds brighter things for all of us.

I brought some anemones full of the spring joys just for you all! xx

My Sister Is Ill

To all my readers: You might have noticed that I've not been around much lately. No, I haven't quit blogging. The real reason why I have been M.I.A lately is that my sister, Jenny, got sick with a high fever eczema out of the blue, and I've been taking care of her the past few days.
I just wanted to let you all know what's really going on over here.

I apologize for not being able to get back to you and/or comment on your blogs, and I am sorry I haven't written sooner, but I'm not in the mood to blog...really.
I am very sad and worried about my sister...we pray and hope she gets better very soon!
So, all there is to say is that I hope you are all doing well, and that you take good care of yourselves.
My apologies...any replies may take a while, but I will get back to you eventually.
Do take care. xx

Get well soon please, Jenny. I love you!

Have a Great Weekend!

I brought this Bone China milk jug home from one of my vacations in London. I'm still not quite sure why I love this one. Maybe it's because of its simple shape; I think in a wide variety of shapes and styles the simple is always better.

What are you up to this weekend? I just feel like lounging at home, cooking my favourite meal, and renting those movies that I've always wanted to watch but never had the chance to.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! xx

What Are You Craving Right Now?

Hello my friends! How are you? Wooh! I'm totally exhausted but quite happy. As some of you may already know, I've had a pretty harried few weeks trying to finish a project I've been working on...so long.
I've been very busy the last few weeks; It's hard to believe how much work it takes to get it all done. I think time management and increased focus helped me to get everything done effectively.
(My job can be pretty chaotic; there are evenings where I work late into the night.)
Finally I seem to have successfully resolved my work issues as well.

When it comes to work related issues, I know I really only have three options.
*Sucking it up and living with it.
*Directly address them.
*Make the decision and move on.
Well, after much thought, I decided that the second one seemed like the best option to me. I think it was the most professional way to handle it. So, I directly talked to my co-worker (the person who is the cause of my problem), having in mind that I was trying to resolve the issue and not escalate it. And yes, it worked!

Dealing with passive-aggressive and difficult co-workers can be so frustrating. People like this are quite toxic.
I always feel relieved after finishing a difficult challenging project.

Right now I crave for a peaceful breathing space; perfectly soothing after a stressful couple of weeks...

and I am totally craving these delicious treats for my breakfast today; some fairy cupcakes sound really, really, really good right now! xx

What about you? What do you crave  right now?

P.S. Here's a post on how are Bonnie and Clyde related to Micro-Economics, if you'd like to see.
