A Story of Hope

I've recently got a wonderfully polite email from an American young woman, Heather. She asked me if I...
could write a blog post to help spread awareness of a terrible disease, mesothelioma, as this month is Cancer Research Month.
When you know it's for a good cause you just can't say no.

Heather is a nine-year mesothelioma cancer survivor and positive example for all. She has made it her mission to help others going through this around the globe.
I really appreciated her inspiring story. Paying it forward is an awesome thing. It is so important for those who are going through something like this to have encouraging words from those have been through it and survived.
It takes courage to speak out about being a survivor.

Here's Heather's story.

Also, Heather is so awesome and such a great reminder to not take anything in this journey called life for granted. Her story is an inspiration to me and yet another reminder to be thankful and grateful for every day we are given.

Real hope is: Cancer research. Take action now! Help make cancer research a top national priority.

Thank you, Heather, keep on living the good life...you deserve it!
