Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken. A delicious dish.

This recipe is pretty much foolproof. In fact, it's hard to mess up! Also,...
leftover cooked chicken strips make a wonderful pizza topping just slice thinly and freeze until ready to use.
This is actually one of my favourite recipes as well. I made these chicken strips up early this morning and they were delicious and so tender and yummy.
It's one of those everyone-should-know-how-to-make recipes. Quick and easy to make for a fast dinner and so much tastier than the frozen breaded chicken breasts at the store.
Oh, well, it's delicious! It's chicken breasts, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and bread crumbs baked in the oven. Yum!
Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

2/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated.
2/3 cup plain bread crumbs
3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Pinch of salt
2 large boneless skinless breasts, cut into 6 to 8 strips
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary for garnish (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 C)
Spray a baking dish with non-stick spray.
In a small bowl, combine milk and egg.
In a plastic food bag, combine Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Dip chicken breast strips first in milk mixture, then toss to coat evenly in the breadcrumb and cheese mixture.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
Serve with a veggie like these fresh green beans that I steamed.
Garnish with fresh rosemary, if desired.
