Dancing Away

Meryl Streep on the island of Skopelos, Greece.

I have a secret crush on Meryl Steep. I absolutely adore her. Mama Mia with Phyllida Lloyd as director is a light-hearted, quite enjoyable  music/romantic comedy film.                                                                           It is based on the great songs of Abba. Have you seen it? It is really entertaining and the female and male
characters are quite hilarious. Overall, a feel-good movie.
Superb songs, fascinating scenery, a fabulous Greek island!
Not quite my preferred genre, actually. But I loved it and I'd highly recommend it.

I have never seen the movie because I am not that much into musicals, but if the scenery is as beautiful as those photos I might have to give it a try. I think Meryl is a fantastic actress.

Love Meryl and love "Mama Mia" too! I saw it on the stage and in the theater. I think I will begin singing those songs now! My family REALLY thanks you for this!

Not my type of movie, actually. But I loved every second of it. Honestly, movies with such a high entertainment value are way to few and far between! Besides, I adore Colin Firth. Seeing him as a gay guy turned me... on! :D

I've never really gotten to seeing Mamma Mia! , but I will tell you: that movie is the 50th highest grossing movie of all time. Pretty interesting huh?

I love Meryl! She's very talented. She won me over in The Devil Wears Prada. I saw mamia, but the movie is nothing compared to the Broadway show. The show is incredible! I highly recommend it!

Meryl Streep is a genius! I don't think there's a role she can't do. And I've quite a fetish for ABBA, so that was an awesome movie, as far as I was concerned. Very very cool for the summer.

And your photos make me feel like taking a swim. It's been at least a week since I took a long plunge and immersed myself in water. I think I'll do that this weekend... right around the corner.

I wish you a lovely weekend, dear Betty. Enjoy the gorgeous sun!

Great movie (it makes me want to visit!!!) and great actress. The movie Julie and Julia was my inspiration for blogging. Just think without that movie, I might never have met you. That would have been terribly sad!

I'm not a musical fan, but I'll see pretty much anything else with Streep in it as well. So much skill and talent, such a pleasure to watch - even when she's making me cry my heart out!

I just saw the movie "It's Complicated" with her and Alec Baldwin. She's such a treasure. It is a joy to watch her in any film. And she ages with such grace, too. Not all plasticy, like so many older actresses.

Beautiful pictures.
