Beautiful photos! I think I would agree that winter begins in the UK on 21 December, because spring only begins to make an appearance at the end of March. It was different in South Africa. Spring and summer began on 8 August and 8 November respectively, with the equinoxes and solstices marking mid-season.

I love leaves. It's so fun to watch the colors change throughout the year. Right now many of my trees are bare. A few months and I"ll begin to see the green on them again. Really nice photos.
