It seems almost everyone has pet peeves. Yes. I've got some pet peeves. (Let me know if I should include some more.)
Here's my list:
People who are mean to animals.
Noisy eaters.
People who talk with food in their mouths. I find that extremely rude.
People who throwing trash into a recycle bin.
People who blame anything but themselves for their failure.
People who pick their noise in public.
Of course, I have plenty of annoying qualities myself, but I am completely at peace with them. Haha!

The most annoying habit for me is when you go out with somebody and the most of the time he/she is talking to the phone.

Becoming a proper grumpy old woman I'm afraid, my pet hates are too many to mention. Great post though Betty and I agree with you on them all and especially with the litter louts - it maddens me even more when they drop their litter whilst right next to a bin .... agggghhhh.

Pet Peeves - People who litter. When I see people throw garbage out their car window, I just want to pull up beside their car and yell at them. I don't have the nerve, but boy I sure want to do that!
People who don't pick up after their dog! I LOVE animals, but I don't love their poop!

I will start my pet peeve with the photo...texting while driving, talking on cell phone while driving, talking on cell phone in doctor office, talking to your friend on cell phone while we are eating lunch out, talking on cell phone while trying to put groceries on the belt, talking on cell phone while trying to write a check at said check out. there is more but no time to do it all.
people who call me Sandy when i say my name is Sandra
and all of the ones you listed, and the worst one out of those that makes me crazy is those who think all the stuff that happens to them is bad luck, never a consequence of what THEY did.
I have about the same ones as you + people who smoke and don't realize their cigarette smoke permeates books they borrow, etc. :)
And a new one - people who post on facebook that they are out at a fun outing (restaurant - whatever) and list the people they are with and the list does not include me! :)
My biggest pet peeves:
1. People texting at the dinner table, or talking LOUDLY on their cellphones in a restaurant or store;
2. People who are slow in front of you in line at a store--such as not even beginning to write a check before checking out, or finding their credit cards, or having a long chat with the cashier, etc...
3. People who drive too slow in the left (fast) lane on the interstate;

One big pet peeve is people who think they are professional photographer and really are not. I appreciate all pictures and most of us don't claim to be pros,just enjoy taking pictured.Ok,I got that off my chest and now on to enjoy all the pictures my dear friends have posted.Keep on shooting.
I definitely agree with all those on your list! I have to say that I hate it when I see people out to dinner and they have their faces buried in their cell phones. What happened to having a conversation over dinner? It's just so rude!

I have lots of pet peeves. Cell phones that are permanently attached to people is one of them, people who are late, people who call off from work and then complain they have no money, those are just the beginning...lol

I think my biggest pet peeve at the moment is people who text while they're driving. I've been in too many near misses because of that, and I can't help but wonder what it is that's just so important it can't wait!
I also cringe when people separate their salad into individual vegetables, and eat in backwards order, saving their favorite vegetable for last. I'm not so sure what that's all about, but... it's a salad. If you want to eat each vegetable separately, why make a salad to begin with?

Bad manners! Being polite costs nothing, and it is so much easier than being rude! And I hate it when people stand in front of me when I am waiting for a train or tube when I am doing as I am asked and standing safely behind the Yellow Line! And people who won't admit they have made a mistake -we all do. Admit it and move on! No one will think badly of you! Have a nice Sunday Betty!
All of yours and when someone takes long, non-urgent, chatty phone calls when you're either visiting them (or they, you) or you're out to lunch together. Or similarly those who put you on hold after phoning you, to take another call or to talk to someone while you wait.. and by this I mean personal stuff - not business phone calls.
Oh I agree with ALL of your list but rude people really get my goat. It doesn't hurt to be nice. Gee thanks for letting me get that of my chest, lol. I feel better now.
When I saw your picture I was sure you were going to mention my pet peeve: People loudly talking on their cell phone in restaurants or other public places.
My pet peeve, not being on time. I hate it when people are late. I am never late. If your not 10 minutes early, you're late. As you can tell, it is my pet peeve.
Pet peeve -- people who say they will do something and then they don't. Very aggravating.

Yup - those are some of my pet peeves too.
Mine is audible eaters and close talkers. I just don't understand how you can get to adulthood and eat loudly and noisily or not notice that people shrink away from you when you talk to them.
Texting while you're talking to someone is a huge one. Although nowadays it's not just texting. It's doing anything on a phone while with someone else face to face.
Mine is pretty easy.People who don't "control" their children in public drive me nuts. Loud people also bug me.

Pet peeves? Littering is a big one for me, but that is common to a lot of people, so that we can almost remove that from the category of pet peeves. Maybe the negative reaction to littering should be reclassified to "righteous indignation."
Spelling is something that I pay some attention to, and maybe too much. It gnaws at me when I see the error of "there, their and they're." But I have a lot of pet peeves.
Oh! I just thought of one! Licking. My dog is a licker, and he just... won't... stop!! It drives me bananas. I can handle one or two passes of the tongue, but I am not a human popsicle!! Aah, I feel better for letting that out. Thank you.
I can't say that I have a ton of pet peeves, but only because I've resolved myself that people are who they are and there is nothing I can do about it. :)
Here's my short pet peeve list:
1. Complaining about silly things, when there is so much suffering in the world.
2. Neglecting the needs of the children we produce.
3. Not being a good example to said children. (Being selfish)
4. Dogs chained in yards. (not cool)
5. People texting and driving. (Dangerous)
6. Parents reading their phones as their children trail behind -- no interaction. (Sad)
7. The other extreme: Treating your dog like a child. Doggies aren't meant to be our children. Treating them like a pet (and not a child) gives them the freedom to be the wonderful creatures they are meant to be.
