Hi there! I hope you are all enjoying the summer (or winter for your south hemisphere friends). To be honest with you - I sort of wrote this last minute...I didn't even realize it was Friday this morning! hehe.

Feline Stories

This is my cat, Molly. Molly has two best friends. Literally.

These cats, neighbour cats, started to stop by and hang out with Molly in our backyard.
I think they are a little more than just friends but hush, that's a secret! ;)

Have a Huggy Weekend!

I just want a hug!!

I am definitely a hugger. I mean really! Well, obviously, I don't just go around hugging anyone but I love to hug my family members and close friends that I haven't seen for a while; I am not a cheek kisser hello/good bye though. 

I love hugging people I care about (reaching over and heartily pat on the back) as a means of showing my love and affection for them.

Have you ever thought how important hugs are? I know I haven't. The Internet is full of sources to verify how important hugging is. The touch of a hug has a healing effect on your body.

It's good to have physical contact sometimes. It's just feels nice emotionally, it is good for the soul. 

Studies also showed that hugging improves your health. Did you know January 21st is National Hug Day?

Let us not forget to embrace those whom we love. 

Here's a touching real life story about love from newborns! Rescuing Hug. This is the sweetest thing I've ever seen! Literally.

Have a Fabulous Fall Weekend!

Not a Play-Fighting Kitty. (SOOC)

A couple of days ago, I was walking home after a long day when I spotted this cute little baby all alone on the street looking lost and hungry-as a single stray kitten.

It's apparent the little kitten was deadly afraid of me, and sometimes fear makes a cat aggressive. They are always afraid of the unknown or something they know little about (just like humans do)-but hey, kittens are small  and humans are big, so you cannot blame a kitten for being aggressive! See? those visible signs of fear? the raised fur and arched back? Definitely not a play-fighting kitty!

The first thought that came to my mind was: "Oh, poor, scared little thing! I have to save this furry baby from the streets." But how could I grab it unprotected (without protection gloves)?

Have you ever tried catching a wild baby cat right off the streets? No matter how small they are they put out a fight and you usually end up being a possible target for an attack.

Epilogue: I ended up bringing a cuddly bundle of purr home! (Don't ask how...you don't want to know!)
Afterwards, I called the local no-kill shelter.

After all, I am so happy to have succeeded in making the world a better place, at least for one little kitten!

Life is Hard for Abigail Doggie

I hate going to pubs. I am so damn bored over there...aw, my boring life is killing me... If only I could figure out how to escape from this pub I'm trapped in.
I really need a vacation. Last summer I begged my human to take me along on vacation to the beach. Chances are he will never be willing to take me along with him. He always leaves me alone and spends the whole vacation with his awful girlfriend.
To be frank, I'm getting tired of them.
I'm a good pup. I always wag my tail whenever I see them coming my way, and keep giving and giving and get so little back. But my nature is to not give up.

Well, I really need a summer vacation, too. Everyone deserves a vacation holiday!

Are You a Cat or Dog Person? + Have a Sweet Weekend!

I'm most certainly a dog person, but I love kitties, too. Cats always are attracted to me and I truly love the furry pet world. No doubt these poor cats are having such a bad time! Oh, and there have been two cat visitors to my backyard lately. Congratulations guys, you're adopted!

Guess Who's Back!

How small and soft you are!

When I got back home from vacation I was pleasantly surprised to see these cute baby kittens in my backyard.

Oh yes, these stinking cuties have had invaded my backyard. Oh my goodness, her blueish-grey eyes are so beautiful! Kittens are adorable and make my heart melt.

Even if you are not a cat lover you must admit that baby kittens are cute, beautiful little balls of fluff! They are precious little darlings! Aren't they?

Congratulations guys! I've just adopted you!
